What is RSS?
RSS is a family of Web feed formats used to publish frequently updated content such as blog entries, news headlines or podcasts. An RSS document, which is called a "feed," "web feed," or "channel," contains either a summary of content from an associated web site or the full text.

How do I get an RSS reader?
Popular RSS readers include Amphetadesk (Windows, Linux, Mac), FeedReader (Windows), and NewsGator (Windows - integrates with Outlook). There are also a number of web-based feed readers available. My Yahoo, Bloglines, and Google Reader are popular web-based feed readers.

What does syndication mean?
Syndication on the web refers to when a section of a web site is made available for other sites to display, and for people to get a summary of recently updated material across the web.
