Navy Seaport-e Prime Contract

Daylight is pleased to be selected as a Prime Contractor for the Seaport Enhanced MAC. Daylight is qualified to offer services to support the Virtual Systems Command and SSP offices in 3 geographical regions: 2 – National Capital, 5 – Midwest, and 6 – Southwest. Daylight Defense technical capabilities are backed up by demonstrated program and project performance for a variety of government customers. The depth and breadth of Daylight’s Functional Area expertise offered by area number under Seaport-E includes:

Quality Assurance at Daylight

At Daylight we take a customer focused approach to business and to quality. We define Quality Assurance as the extent to which we meet the customer’s requirements, and in the course of doing so, satisfy our customers. As part of Daylight’s competitive strategy, quality permeates all areas of our business. It is not limited to manufacturing and product quality control, but extends to every aspect of execution of a customer task. Daylight has established, documented, implemented, and maintains a Quality Management System (QMS) in accordance with ISO 9001-2008. Using the ISO as its foundation, Daylight’s QMS is designed to addresses all customer and applicable regulatory quality management system requirements per the Sequence and Interaction of the Quality Management System Processes shown below.
 


Daylight management actively uses the sequences and interactions flow chart above to determine the quality criteria and methods needed to ensure that each project’s operation and control processes are effective. This ensures the availability of all resources needed to support the operation and monitoring of these processes, and to implement corrective actions when necessary to achieve planned results at any point during program execution.
