Aries™ Lasers (High Power)
Daylight Solutions introduces the Aries™ series of high-power and fixed-wavelength lasers in the mid-IR. A modular “socket” approach allows for flexibility in performance including up to 10 W or 7 different simultaneous wavelengths. Proprietary beam combination techniques allow for collinear beam output for most wavelength combinations. Operated through a flexible interface, the Aries™ systems are all air-cooled and offer true cw and high-duty cycle pulsed operation. Designed for high-power applications such as optical fiber testing, stand-off detection, infrared countermeasures, scene generation, and machining, they offer rugged environmental specifications with the ability to operate over a large temperature range and withstand shaking and vibration.

Über Tuner™ Lasers
(Broadly Tunable)
Daylight Solutions is proud to announce the Über Tuner™ series of broadly tunable ECqcL™ (External Cavity quantum cascade Lasers). These pulsed lasers allow unprecedented access to high-brightness coherent light in the mid-IR. We now offer up to 250 cm-1 or 1.6 µm of tunability in a single package with narrow linewidth and easy tunability. The Über Tuner™ also offers higher powers – up to 400 mW and even more with the high-power option.
The broad tuning of the Über Tuner™ series lasers are just right for sensing and stand-off detection experiments as well as solid and liquid phase spectroscopy and imaging.

Tunable Laser (CW-MHF)
The Tunable Continuous Wave Mode Hop Free (CW-MHF) ECqcL™ laser was developed for high resolution spectroscopy. This high-end system provides “continuous tunability,” also known as Mode Hop Free tuning, over a typical range of 60 cm-1. The combination of a narrow linewidth and excellent wavelength control allows for highly resolved spectral features using broad survey scans. Wavelength modulation over smaller ranges is also a standard feature of the CW-MHF system.

Unicorn™ Lasers
(Fixed Wavelength)
The Unicorn™ fixed-wavelength laser is a stable source of light at a user-specified wavelength. High power, low frequency drift and a choice of wavelength make this laser an excellent source for imaging, illumination, LIDAR and DIAL, stand-off detection, OPO seeding, and detector calibration applications.

Tunable Laser (Pulsed)
The Tunable Pulsed ECqcL™ laser system provides the user with over 100 cm-1 of tunability in less than a second. This translates to tunability of 5% to 10% of the center wavelength. The platform offers adjustable pulse widths anywhere from 40 nsec to 500 nsec and pulse repetition frequencies (PRF) from 50 Hz to 100 kHz. The system operates at room temperature, requiring no external cooling.

Thermal Laser Pointers
Our suite of “Thermal Laser Pointers” are ideally suited for applications where small, handheld, mid-infrared illumination or pointing is required. Available in wavelengths ranging from 3 to 20 µm, these devices can provide over 100 mW of output power in a package weighing less than 2 ounces.
