Tunable Lasers:
Miniaturized, mid-Infrared tunable lasers are beginning to have a dramatic impact on a wide range of markets, including medical diagnostics, homeland security, and industrial applications. Daylight Solutions' products cover the entire mid-IR spectrum, from 4um to 12um. Each tunable source operates at room temperature (i.e. NO cryogenic cooling required!), and is small enough to fit in the palm of your hand. Our scientific units incorporate Quantum Cascade Lasers (QCLs) that are integrated with rugged, external tunable cavities. This results in the broadest tunability of any sources in the mid-IR region.
Each tunable source is sold with its own multifunction controller. That's one controller to manage current, temperature, and tuning. This full turn-key systems allows manual programming from the front panel, as well as computer control from a USB, RS232, or GPIB interface.
Custom, fixed wavelength devices are also available in Scientific packages.
